Jr. High Art - Desi Johnson

Art can be a fun learning experience as well as a life long pursuit. The purpose of Jr. High Art is to allow student the opportunity to explore many different media through hands on learning. Emphasis will be on the elements of art and principles of design. We will focus on four concepts: Art production – creating art in class; Art criticism – assessing art works; Art history – learning about artists, their styles; Art aesthetics – finding beauty in art forms
