KES Wildcat Diner Bookfair
March 8th - 12 th every student at KES was able to visity the Book Fair at least once and most made the trip everyday. the Wildcat Diner bookfair was considered a success by one and all.

 Several Kirbyville Elementary students qualified to vote on this year's Texas Bluebonnet Award book. For students to qualify as a voter they had to read five nominated books and pass the Accelerated Reading test on each.
The dead line for qualifying was January 2010.
The book that was selected as the Texas Bluebonnet Award winner for 2009 - 2010 was Help Me Mr. Mutt.
