Damaged Books and Fines

The following damages will be assessed according to the extent of the damage (not to exceed the cost of the book): Cover damage Bent pagesPencil or Crayon shavings on or in book Any other damage not listed above
Some damages are not repairable, and the cost of the book will be fined. Examples are: mold/mildew on or in book; exposure of book to moisture (even if it has not started to mildew); pages completely torn out or missing; food/sticky substances inside the book or not removable from outside of book; books with cover and/or pages that have been chewed by an animal.
