Dr. Joseph Burns - Superintendent of Schools

Dr. Joe Burns has led the charge for excellence in Kirbyville Schools since coming to Kirbyville in 2001. As husband to his wife Cheryl and a father of four boys, Dr. Burns understands the kind of family values that are important to the education of todays students. Dr. Burns' philosophy of education can be summed up in the Kirbyville CISD motto, "All the Kids, All the Curriculum, All the Time."

Answering the call for educational excellence in 2006, Richard Hazelwood came to Kirbyville CISD as our Assistant Superintendent for General Administration. Mr. Hazelwood is a virtual superman of organization, inspiring all those who work with him.

Jimmy Gaspard has high goals set for the Kirbyville Technology Department. He desires to make technology "user friendly" for all of the wonderful staff and students at Kirbyville CISD. He believes that the students come first in all that we do and that our technology efforts should result in the highest quality education for all Kirbyville students.

Butch Daniels keeps Kirbyville CISD moving forward, literally. As Maintenance and Transportation Director Mr. Daniels is responsible for keeping all District vehicles and properties in top working order to assure the safety and security of Kirbyville's most precious resource, our students.

T.J. Adams is our new Coordinator of Student Services. His primary duty is the Director of Wildcat University. Wildcat University is a great program to help students who are in need of academic assistance. Both he and Wildcat University are welcomed additions to the Kirbyville CISD family.
